WELCOME TO THE LEP BLOG!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!! This is where I give families sneak peeks of their fabulous sessions and rant and rave about the amazing job I have! I LOVE what I do, capturing love moments of babies, families and everything in between! At this time, I am unable to do weddings, events, and large families.

Color and contrast on my blog are very dull. It's a problem I've been having for over a year now and hopefully it will lead to a new blog soon.

Kelsey: Schuyler Class of 2011 in Omaha, NE

Been so anxious to post these so everyone can see my beautiful cousin (distant of course!). He came down from Schuyler to spend the afternoon with me and we had soo much fun! We had a beautiful afternoon with a little wind we had to work with. She is sooo pretty and sweet and smart :) I was honored to be able to capture this time in her life!

Probably one of my favorite senior pics this year!

Apparently we are 2 of the people who didn't know that this is what happens when you do this. HA! She was covered head to toe in cotton! Made for lots of laughs!

Something different for me : 1. Urban sports shot 2. Color block. She really wanted the color block so I gave it a shot.
Pat & Kelsey...thank you so much for coming down to let me capture this time in your life! I had soo much fun and really loved everything we were able to capture. Best wishes on a great end to your BIG year!

Hoeft Family: Family Portrait Session in Omaha, NE

Last year, I was able to capture Tawny's senior pictures (oldest girl below) and we had such a great time! This is her adorable blended family who wanted some family pictures done for Christmas. I knew before I ever got their it was going to be a blast, but had no idea how much we'd laugh. They were hilarious and had so much love for each other! Here are mom and dad :)

Thank you Hoeft family for spending some time with me! I had sooo much fun! Hope to see you next year!

Welcome to the world, Hayden John!

I traveled to Sioux City for this little guys' newborn session. This adorable fella decided that late was his game and fiesty was his name. He made his parents wait two extra weeks to see him, poor mommy! So he came out a healthy, beautiful boy! Mom joked the whole session she gave birth to a 2 month old because he was such a big boy hehe!

I just adore this image!

Joe & Jada...thank you so much for letting me capture this very special time in your life! I had such a great time catching up and playing with your fiesty little guy. He is one loved little man! Hope I get to see you guys in the future!

Caroline is 6 months :)

Finally catching up on my blog. Sorry for the slow goings on here this year. Decided to keep images small for quicker upload and less steps for me. You can click each image to see it slightly larger. Hoping in the new year I'll get a blog that more functional and better quality for you all. Blogger has been my enemy all year :(

I can't believe how fast time flies :) I captured Miss Caroline's newborn images in the spring and here she is 6 months old! She is the sweetest, happiest little girl. We had so much fun!

Stacy...thank you for letting me capture this special time for you guys. I really love getting to see you all and playing with the kids! Hope to see you in the spring :)

Asher's 3!!

These will be very familiar faces to the LEP fans :) Mr. Asher is back for his 3 years pics and they came with a super awesome surprise. Asher will be a big brother in the spring! I'm so incredibly thrilled that they will be adding to their already adorable and sweet family.

He is the most well behaved little man I've EVER met! The first thing he said to me, "Jesus loves you!" with a big ol' squeeze! Gosh I love him!

Have you ever seen a crayon coloring a tree? Well now you have! Mom, dad, and I were having quite the lengthy convo after our session and Asher was having a good ol' time around the park. Then we found him coloring the tree and we were all crying we were laughing so hard. So were all the people at the park. He was quite the entertainer!
Dave, Josalynn and Asher, thank you for letting me capture this special time in your life! Jesus loves you and so do I :)

My in-laws :): Family portraits in Omaha, NE

My in-laws are too cute!

My sweet niece Sydney was such a poser this time. I was eating it up!
Another session without dad :( He's stationed in Korea til April. Can't wait to take more pics then!
I just love this. Sweet Salem is just a ham! I love her right arm ha...too too sweet!
So Sydney decided to model for me. It's so funny to think of our session last fall. I had to chase her around the yard and all the pics were here running. They were fabulous pics but she just posed and did anything I wanted her too. It was so fun and I can't believe how old she's getting! Love her so much!

I could take pics of Salem all day every day. No joke! Those eyes get me every time. She really does have the sweetest personality :)
LOVE YOU GUYS!

Sexton Family: Family Portraits in Sioux City, IA

Another wonderful and beautiful new family in my good ol' hometown :) Mom, Dori, and I played volleyball against each other way back in the day and she lives on the same street that I grew up on...such a small world! Her littles are 5, 3, 2....WOW! I always get nervous when there are lots of littles but they were fantastic, even in the cold!

Little Maddie found my puppy I did not let it go, ever ha! Luckily mom and dad didn't care and she was a perfect angel :)
Pure cuteness :)

Dori, thank you again for choosing LEP! I had such a wonderful time and love your sweet family! Hope I get to see you guys soon!

Otten Family: Family portraits in Sioux City, IA

I've had the pleasure of photographing this family 3 times now. And I really didn't think they could get any cuter, but they did! And it still floors me how they don't look alike. The two boys look just like mom and the two girls look just like dad. Gets me every time!

Ella wants to know "where did the birds go?" BTW...Miss Ella is on the top of this blog :)

One of my favorite kid pics...love this little pathway and love how their holding hands, too sweet!
Anna has a small piece of my heart <3

If this doesn't make you laugh....she had quite the tickle spot ha!
Amy, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, for letting me capture you guys AGAIN :) It means so much to have clients come back time and time again. You have the sweetest, most adorable family and I'm so glad you love them!

Hears a copy of the email I got from Amy the other day:

"Thanks, Lindsay! I cried through the entire slide show! A few times!

Love them so much! God bless you,

Amy"

Warms my heart :)

The Noda's: Family Portraits in Omaha, NE

I keep looking through these pics over and over. This little peanut's mom found me searching google. LOVE IT! It was my first time capturing this gorgeous family and I sure hope I get to capture all of they're precious moments. Meet Saloane...isn't that a such a beautiful name! She is quite the perfect mix of her awesome parents....

They were lucky enough to get the falling of Elmwoods leaves...one of the best trees in town. If only the leaves fell their all year round :)
This is mom's grandma's blanket. She was hesitant to ask me to use it and I about screamed I was so excited. I really love incorporating things that mean something to people and look how stunning it is....so perfect!
Quite the different composition for me, but I LOVE IT! I used those leaves in all the pics, too beautiful not too!
Nancy, thank you so much for choosing LEP! It was such a pleasure working with you all. Hope I get to see you in the future!
