WELCOME TO THE LEP BLOG!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!! This is where I give families sneak peeks of their fabulous sessions and rant and rave about the amazing job I have! I LOVE what I do, capturing love moments of babies, families and everything in between! At this time, I am unable to do weddings, events, and large families.

Color and contrast on my blog are very dull. It's a problem I've been having for over a year now and hopefully it will lead to a new blog soon.

Elijah...9 days

Had such a great time with this little guy! He is so content and taking in his new world :)

I am in love with this next image...love everything about it!

Couldn't resist ending with this one! SCORE!!!!!!! Just love it :)
Leah, thank you for letting me capture your little man. He really is precious! So glad you are enjoying this pics !!

Sweet Caroline...

She really is the sweetest! Although she would have enjoyed being awake the whole time :) I had to pull out all the stops to get her to sleep. Caroline's mommy and I had almost every college class together, so it was great to get to hang out and meet big brother Will too. Here is Caroline in all her cuteness :)

Stacy, you are so blessed with two incredibly adorable kids. Thanks for letting me capture your sweet new addition! ENJOY!

Icky pics????

I've been really disappointed in how my images are showing up on my blog, very grainy, low contrast, and color is way off. I'm not sure why it's all of a sudden changed. Maybe it's what happened last couple weeks with blogger??? Any other bloggers having a problem with this??? Anyway, sorry they look so bad and I'll keep working on it....because it's driving me NUTS!!!!

Clare...2010 Senior

Many of you probably read the title and thought "What a 2010 senior?" and I promise you read it right. Clare just graduated from homeschool :) and they decided to do spring photos. Which I think is an awesome idea! I wish I had more current year seniors (I"m already full speed into 2011 seniors!!). So this was super fun!! You will be blown away by her beauty, and fortunately her beauty isn't just on the outside. She is incredibly sweet, funny and so carefree. We had such a great time and she totally brought her A game!

Clare is moving far, far away for school....Louisiana...I have no doubt she'll do great things!

Thank you guys so much for choosing LEP...I know we were all blessed to have met :)

JUNE GIVEAWAY :)

It's time for the June giveaway! Every session in June will be entered to win a FREE 16x20 Float Wrap (A $200 VALUE!!!)...WOOOHOO!! Anyone who is already booked for June is automatically entered to win (and you will be entered in the order of the day of your session), if you'd like to be entered you must call/email and schedule a session within the next 6 days. This giveaway ends Tuesday, June 1 @ 10pm and the winner will be announced shortly after. The only way for you to receive your Float Wrap is if you complete your session by June 30th and any purchases by July 14th.

Here is an image and description of a float wrap...

"A Float Wrap is a new, unique option to display images. Float Wraps are similar to Gallery Wraps or Standout mounted prints in that they add dimension by extending out from the wall. Float wraps are unique in that they appear to be floating on the wall with the main focus on the image! Create a modern display with a Float Wrap wall collage that is ready to hang once removed from the box!

Float Wraps are created by wrapping the photographic print or canvas print around masonite to create a thin wrap. The print or canvas is protected with a laminate and padding is added between the print and the masonite to give the front of the Float Wrap a raised, elegant look and feel. The back of the Float Wrap is complete with black paper backing and a black ¾" or 1-1/2" thick gatorboard block that allows the Float Wrap to extend out from the wall. The back of the block also contains drilled holes for hanging. Or, if you'd prefer to display your Float Wrap on an easel, you can order your wrap without the gatorboard block."

I have ordered several of these and they are fabulous. They are the new gallery wrap :)

So if you'd like to win this wonderful product contact me now to book your unique session in June!!! (All sessions are eligible for the giveaway-newborns, kids, families, seniors, engagements, maternity).

White Family

Just love this little family! I captured them in the fall and it was not the best experience for anyone, very cold, very windy, and two sick little girlies :( So I was so happy we got to do a spring session!!! These girls are identical twins but I actually think I've figured them out. They are turning 3 here very soon!

Riley
Madison

Oh the out takes...they are both just the sweetest little things but I think Madisons going to give mommy and daddy a run for their money. She has the greatest faces!
Thank you guys for a wonderful evening at the park. I'm so happy we got smiles from everyone :)

No picture posts...

Sorry for no posts recently. Blogger is having picture issues and I'm unable to see pictures once they are loaded. Not just my blog but the whole Blogger network, so I have a feeling it's going to take awhile. So those who are patiently waiting for sneak peeks, my sincere apologies that there may not be any for awhile :( Here's hoping to a quick fix!

The Kruse Family

Mr. Alex is turning 3 this month, so we headed down to the old train station for some fun! He is way too much fun!

So Alex, so perfect!
Cutest family EVER!

Alex found a large pool of water in hte middle of the tracks and he was all about throwing rocks in the "river". Except his "river" had "big sharks" in it, i.e. sticks. Too funny! Love this little capture with daddy, even caught the rock in the air!

Love you guys so much! Thanks for a wonderful afternoon!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Bridgid & Steve

So I have to start by saying how incredibly excited I was to be able to capture Bridget and Steve's love shoot :-) Steve and I have known each other before we could talk. I have so many memories of us at his parents house running up and down the stairs when we were wee little and spending weekend after weekend with them in Boji. He's such a great guy and he always treated me as a brother. So needless to say to be able to work with him and his amazing fiancee was really a blessing! Now on to his fiancee, boy is he one lucky guy! Bridgid is sweet, funny, and sparkling. Really check out the pics, you'll know what I'm talking about! They are perfect for each other and I could not be more thrilled for their new life together!

Without further ado....the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Steve Strait :-)

This is for the moms :-)

Bridgid and Steve, thank you for letting me capture your love. I am so incredibly happy for you guys! I had such a blast...ENJOY!

Ellie - 7 days

Miss Ellie gets the award for easiest newborn session. This girl likes to sleep...my kindda girl :-) Anytime you'd move her she'd find her comfortable spot and fall fast asleep. Even giving us tons of smiles too! Ellie's mommy and I are both Heelan grads so it was great to catch up!

I've been wanting to do this for awhile and once Ellie's mom and dad told me she was a rockin' sleeper, I new she'd be the one to rock my zebra luggage! And boy did she, she actually loved it!

Laura and Greg, what a pleasure it was to hang out and photograph your amazing little girl! What a blessing she is! Let's hope #2 (whenever he/she may come ;) is just as nice to you as she is! Enjoy these and be in touch soon!

Carter - 21 days

Mr. Carter decided to surprise his parents and come 4 weeks early!!! Poor guy had a rough few weeks and he wasn't much for pictures either but Mom, Dad, and I worked really hard to get him to sleep and then he was a ROCKSTAR! Weighing in at a whopping 5 lbs. 11 oz on his big picture day ....

Couldn't resist his cute little belly button!

He smiled a lot when he was rem sleeping and I was so happy I caught this little smirk :-) I just love how they are both smiling, melts my heart!
Nate and Jessica, thank you for working hard to get some great images of your little man. He is adorable and I'm so happy he is doing great now :-) ENJOY!

Friday Photo of the Week

I know it's Saturday, but at least I'm getting this up right?!?! I've been wanting to have this for photo of the week for some time now and just ran across it again and still love it. Her look and biting of the corner of her mouth just makes me melt. Love me some Josie :-)

Happy Weekend!
